Integrative psychotherapy for adults in Brooklyn, New Jersey and Florida
When people are understood without judgment and are given the right tools, they are capable of profound change.
Personalized Care
With 15 years as a licensed clinical psychologist, I bring a warm, integrative approach, drawing from CBT, DBT, and psychodynamic therapy to support people through a wide range of emotional and life challenges.

Treating Common Issues
Panic Attacks and Mood Disorders

Mood Disorders include Generalized Anxiety, Depression, Bipolar Disorders and Panic disorder. As a psychologist with extensive inpatient and outpatient hospital work, I have years of experience diagnosing your specific disorder and coming up with the most effective course of treatment.

Relationship Issues
I employ a family systems approach to better understand and work through romantic, family, workplace and /or friendship issues. I also train clients in DBT interpersonal effectiveness skills. Client’s often find individual work in conjunction with their outside couple’s therapy extremely beneficial.
After reviewing your history, we identify triggers and causes to create an action plan. I will work with you to collaboratively figure out the best course of action and support you along the way to a healthier and happier version of yourself.
Addictions

Specific Phobias and OCD
Phobias cause strong, specific fears, while OCD brings intrusive thoughts and urges to perform rituals to ease anxiety.
Exposure and Response Prevention, or ERP, is a component of CBT that helps break obsessive compulsive patterns and treat phobias.
Expertise in Various Methods
Dialectical Behavior Therapy
DBT is a type of talk therapy that helps people handle strong emotions and improve their relationships. It’s especially helpful for people who feel emotions very intensely or have trouble controlling them. I have co-lead a DBT program at the Office of Mental Health.
Cognitive Behavior Therapy
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) iCBT is structured, goal-oriented, and symptom focussed treatment that helps develop practical coping skills for current problems. I was trained and supervised in CBT at Ferkauf graduate school of Albert Einstein College of Medicine and SUNY downstate.
Psychodynamic Therapy
Relational Dynamic Therapy is a therapeutic approach that focuses on how a person’s past and present relationships shape their emotions, behaviors, and sense of self. I received my training and supervision in psychodynamic therapy at the National Institute for the Psychotherapies Ferkauf Graduate School.
